STaF Athletics Baseball / Softball Clinics

Eagles Baseball Clinic

For Boy Campers: entering 3rd - 5th grades,
entering 6th - 8th grades

Instructors: Coach Chris Stafford – NCCS Varsity Baseball Head Coach; Coach Josh Speck – NCCS Varsity Baseball Assistant Coach; various college baseball players and NCCS varsity baseball players

Schedule: June 8th – 10th, 2009 (3 day clinic)
9am – 2pm

Cost: $120

In this three-day clinic, we will teach all aspects of the game of baseball, with a special emphasis on hitting and throwing mechanics. We will also stress defensive fundamentals at the player's primary and secondary positions. Bring all baseball equipment, tennis shoes for the indoor facility, and change for drinks/snacks during breaks.

Lady Eagles Softball Clinic

For Girl Campers: entering 3rd - 8th grades

Instructors: Coach Josh Speck – NCCS Varsity Softball Head Coach; Coach Chris Stafford – NCCS Varsity Softball Assistant Coach

Schedule: June 15 – 17th, 2009 (3 day clinic)
9am – 2pm

Cost: $120

This three day clinic is designed to help female athletes of all ability levels improve their fundamental softball skills. We will work on the fundamentals of defensive play at all positions and work on mastering the key elements of successful hitting. Wednesday will be largely devoted to game-speed competitions and scrimmages. What to bring: tennis shoes for the pavilion, all softball equipment (including gloves, bats and cleats), a water bottle, a towel, a Bible, and a sack lunch. Wear proper athletic clothing (t-shirts and modest shorts or softball pants).
