Sing! Sing! Sing!

For co-ed campers entering 2nd – 4th grade

For co-ed campers entering 5th – 7th grade

Schedule:
    June 9th -13th
    9:00 AM - 3:00 PM and
    After care 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
   Concert: Friday, June 13th at 2:30 PM in the Black Box Theatre

Do you LOVE to sing? Do you love singing AND dancing? This camp is for YOU! During this camp, kids will have fun learning new songs, new games, and new fun creative movement. We will sing everything from Broadway to contemporary Christian music. Students will continue to grow in their love for singing and the arts.

Intermediate Orchestra Camp

For co-ed string students entering the 5th, 6th, or 7th grade with at least one year experience on their string instrument.

Instructor: Audra Boyd, NCCS/NASOTA Orchestra Director
Instructor: Karen McClary NCCS/NASOTA Associate Orchestra Director

Schedule:
    July 7th - 11th
    9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
   (one hour of warm-up/before care and one hour of practice/after care included)
   Concert: Friday, July 11th, 2007 at 2:00 PM

Designed for string students with beginning to intermediate experience, we will have fun and fellowship through playing games and making music with friends as we work towards developing our proper string instrument technique. Whether you want to reinforce the basics, or just keep up your playing over the summer – you will start school in the fall feeling more refreshed in your string skills and we will have a great time playing some FUN music! Students participating in the camp will perform on Friday, July 11th as we showcase all the work and effort put in during that week. Non-NCCS string students welcome!

Advanced Orchestra Camp

For co-ed string students entering the 8th through 12th grade with at least two years experience on their string instrument.

Instructor: Audra Boyd, NCCS/NASOTA Orchestra Director
Instructor: Karen McClary NCCS/NASOTA Associate Orchestra Director

    July 14th-18th
    9:00 AM-4:00 PM (one hour of warm-up/before care and one hour of practice/after care included)
   Concert: Friday, July 18th, 2007 at 2:00 PM

Designed for students with advanced string instrument skill, we will play some challenging music, while working on our ensemble skills – playing together as an orchestra. We will work on producing a more professional tone and combining those skills with some awesome music! Students will have fun and fellowship through playing games and making music with friends as we work towards a higher level of performance. Students participating in the camp will perform on Friday, July 18th as we showcase all the work and effort put in during that week. Non-NCCS string students welcome!
